Novena For Our Nation
Praying the 54 Day Novena for Our New president
The nation-wide prayer campaign - Novena for Our Nation - begins November 28, the Feast of Saint Catherine Labouré (who received the apparition of the Miraculous Medal), and goes until January 20, the Presidential Inauguration.
The "Novena for Our Nation" website is here (You can sign-up to receive daily emails at the website. Also, you can find the daily 54 Day Novena reflections at the website): NovenaForOurNation.com (If you received emails during our last 54 Day NFON, you do not need to sign-up again).

Here's how the 54 Day Rosary Novena works (it is really very simple) ...
First, we have added a short 1-2 minute reflection for "Basic Training in Holiness." So, participants are not only praying for our nation, but receiving a quality 54 day basic training for becoming the saints we are called to be.
Second, you will pray a rosary, each day for 54 days, in one of two ways (Modern or Traditional) ...
You could just add the intention "For Our New President" to your daily rosary, and simply continue praying the "Rosary Proper" for each day of the week. This would be a way for you to add the Luminous Mysteries. See HERE.
What is the 54 Day Rosary Novena? See HERE.
Many (including myself) believe there is a special power in praying the 54 Day Rosary Novena in the way it was originally designed. Since it was designed prior to St. Pope John Paul II's addition of the "optional" Luminous Mysteries, they would not be prayed while using the traditional version.
Here is the traditional schedule for the 54 Day Rosary Novena, set to our dates:
Also, the traditional version has a few short prayers added.
Here is a sample of the Joyful Mysteries for the traditional prayers that go along with the 54 Day Rosary Novena (These prayers will be added in the daily reflections you may receive by email or by finding the reflections at the Novena for Our Nation website) ...
In thanksgiving (last 27 days): Sweet Mother Mary, I offer thee this Spiritual Communion to bind my bouquets in a wreath to place upon thy brow in thanksgiving for (specify request - "For Faith and Freedom for Our Nation") which thou in thy love hast obtained for me. Hail, Mary, etc.
God, Heal Our Land!!!
Daily Novena Reflections
It is not humanly possible to remedy the ills with which our nation is afflicted now. We are beyond human aid. Our only hope now lies in our dear Lord, and our dear Lord is most intimately and most beautifully reached through His Blessed Mother. But since our need is not lukewarm, our effort cannot be lukewarm, either. Our efforts must be heroic! And I cannot stress strongly enough that part of that heroic effort must be the 54-day Novena for Our Nation and the Washington DC Rosary Rally. I endorse this national effort from the depths of my soul! I pray that not thousands, but eventually millions, join us in the most effective course possible in battling evil, after the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass: the Holy Rosary.Sr. Mary Brigid Callan Sister, a mother, and a grandmother in the Diocese of Steubenville
Kneel with us now and beg our Mother’s intercession! AVE MARIA!
“We are now living in a time of spiritual crisis in America and throughout our culture. This calls each of us to respond. The solution is found in the Mercy and Person of Jesus Christ. The key to His mercy is Our Lady and the Rosary where we encounter Jesus Who alone can counter the prevailing crisis and provide the hope which America and each of us yearn for. The Novena of our Nation initiative provides an opportunity to respond in a positive manner. The Rosary Evangelization Apostolate zealously endorses this effort and encourages the faithful across America to join in this effort of prayer. With and through Mary and the Rosary, Jesus Christ will prevail and win the battle for souls. We will place a smile on the face of Our Lady as we pray for America to encounter Jesus Christ through the rosary.”Dick & Terry Boldin Directors - Rosary Evangelization Apostolate & Producers - powerinmyhandsthemovie.com
"There is such a need for us to unite in prayer, and come back to 'One Nation Under God' that Men of Christ fully supports and is truly excited to participate in the Novena for Our Nation & the National Rosary Rally. 'if then my people, upon whom my name has been pronounced, humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear them from heaven and pardon their sins and heal their land.' God said 2 Chronicles 7:14. We can make a difference, and that difference begins by uniting in prayer. Join us for this historic event."Men of Christ Kevin O'Brien - Director
“I wholeheartedly endorse the Novena for Our Nation (Starting August 15) and the Rosary Rally on October 7th next, the 445th anniversary of the Battle of Lepanto. I urge as many as are able to participate in these great spiritual works for the sake of our entire nation. In a special way, as the spiritual advisor to the Holy League, I urge all members of the Holy League to give strong leadership in this great campaign of prayer for our nation.”Cardinal Raymond Burke Leader of the Holy League
As many of us know, the United States that we grew up in and deeply love has gone down a bad path. As citizens of this great country, we need to storm heaven in urgent prayer and seek to counteract any further damage that may occur as a result of the upcoming presidential election. I can think of no better way to do this than through praying the 54-day rosary novena for our nation. Our Lady of Victory, pray for us! Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC Author - Champions of the Rosary: The History and Heroes of a Spiritual Weapon
“This 54 Day Novena for our Nation and National Rosary Rally comes at a critical and most serious time of crisis in our country. I cannot think of a more powerful response on the part of Catholics than to pray, fast, and come together for the conversion of our nation.”Fr Stephen Imbarrato Pastoral Staff; Priest for Life
